GROUND RULES // SIGNAL_00

Talk like a human.

Disagreement is welcome. Abuse is not. The point is conversation, not winning a demolition derby.

Calls may be broadcast and recorded

By calling the show, you understand that your voice may be broadcast live, recorded, edited, rebroadcast, and used in promotional clips. If you do not want something public, do not say it on the line.

Keep private information private

Do not share addresses, private phone numbers, account information, passwords, or someone else’s non-public personal information. Use a nickname if you prefer.

Disagree without threats or harassment

Strong disagreement is part of the show. Threats, targeted harassment, doxxing, or attempts to intimidate people off-air are not.

The host controls the line

The host or producer may mute, delay, decline, or end a call at any time. Calls may also be shortened so other callers get a turn.

No guaranteed airtime

Joining the queue does not guarantee that your call will be taken or broadcast. Technical problems, time, topic duplication, or production judgment can all change the queue.

Legal and emergency matters

Global Line Zero is entertainment and conversation, not a substitute for emergency, medical, legal, financial, or crisis services. If you need immediate professional help, use the appropriate local service.
